His Excellency Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, led a delegation of senior officers from the Ministry of Defence to participate in the 12th Seoul Defense Dialogue organized by the South Korean Ministry of Defense in the capital, Seoul, from September 11 to 12.
The dialogue brought together senior government officials and civilian experts in the field of security and defence from several countries to discuss various current global security issues and a number of topics of mutual interest.
On the sidelines of the dialogue, His Excellency Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, along with His Excellency Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi, UAE Ambassador to South Korea, met with His Excellency Mohamed Khalid Nordin, Minister of Defence of Malaysia, His Excellency Byambatsogt Sandag, Minister of Defense of Mongolia, His Excellency Kim Young Heon, Minister of Defense of South Korea, and His Excellency Seok Taekyun, Minister of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration of South Korea.
The meetings addressed several topics of mutual interest, particularly in the field of defence and security, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation and strategic partnerships, as well as ways to enhance and develop them to serve common national interests.
The UAE Ministry of Defence’s participation in the 12th Seoul Defense Dialogue reaffirms the strategic cooperation between the UAE and South Korea across various fields, especially military and defence areas.
