His Excellency Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Bawardi, Minister of State for Defense Affairs, received today at his office at the ” UMEX and SimTEX ” exhibitions, Lieutenant General Raheel Sharif, commander-in chief- Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition, and Major General Pilot Mohammed bin Saeed al-Moghedi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition Center, in the presence of His Excellency Matar Salem Ali Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense.

During the meeting, the alliance’s strategy, mechanisms and frameworks were reviewed in coordinating and unifying the efforts of Islamic countries in combating terrorism in a manner that is complementary to other international efforts in the field of maintaining international peace and security. In addition, a number of regional and international issues of common concern were discussed, and views were exchanged on them.

A number of senior officers and officials in the Ministry of Defense attended the meeting.
