His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, met with senior leaders of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces in all branches. During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the work mechanisms, development plans, and major projects.
His Highness affirmed that the military institution, which was built by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and supported by his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, is a source of pride for the nation, a fortress for the Union and unity, a deterrent to the enemy, the secret to stability and prosperity, and the protector of the UAE’s achievements.
His Highness added that joining the Ministry of Defence is an honour, a medal, and a responsibility he holds with pride. He also expressed his pride in joining the team of this prestigious institution, which has become a successful global military model.
