Major General Staff Ibrahim Nasser Al-Alawi, Commander of the UAE Air Force and Air Defense, accompanied by a delegation of senior officers and officials from the Ministry of Defence, attended the opening of the Egypt International Air Show (EIAS), held in the Arab Republic of Egypt from September 3 to 5.
Major General Ibrahim Nasser Al-Alawi and the accompanying delegation toured the exhibition, visiting a number of pavilions and platforms of the exhibition and participating national and international companies specialized in military industries, aviation, and aerospace. During the tour, he reviewed the latest innovations and exhibits of defence systems and the latest products of modern military technology in the field of air defence.
It is noteworthy that the UAE Air Force and Air Defense participated with several aircraft in the air show, which included various activities and events.
This participation aims to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and the exhibiting companies and to build partnership and integration relations that achieve strategic objectives related to strengthening capabilities in the defence industry sector.
Besides, Major General Ibrahim Nasser Al-Alawi received several leaders at his office in the UAE Air Force and Air Defence pavilion at the exhibition. He met with General Derek C. France, Commander of U.S. Central Air Forces, and Brigadier General Ricky Mills, Assistant Deputy Undersecretary of the U.S. Air Force. He also met with Major General Mohammad Asghar Khan, Commander of the Malaysian Air Force.
