A delegation headed by Major General Ibrahim Nasser Al-Alawi, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence, attended the 70th anniversary celebration of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF). The delegation also participated in the Air Chiefs Conference for the Indian and Pacific Ocean Region (IN PACT) and the Japan International Air Show (JA), which took place from October 14-17, 2024.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence met with several senior leaders and officials from various friendly countries to discuss ways to strengthen joint defence and military cooperation, as well as exchange views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
