His Excellency expressed his pride in UAE pavilion participating in "BIDEC" that includes a group of national companies working in the field of military industries. This great success is an implementation of ambitious and serious plans and strategies to localize this industry in the state.

Major General Al-Balushi explained that success in localizing military industries needs several ideal factors, the most important of which are: national and military policies, economic policies, and massive financing for military industries, in addition to technology and military science by attracting capital and private sector to invest in military industrialization alongside governments. He also pointed out that this will only be done through a package of strong legislation and laws supporting the implementation and development of these industries and providing an ideal and safe environment for investors.

Major General Al-Balushi pointed to the great progress the UAE military industries achieved, especially related to modern technology and artificial intelligence, which are presented within joint initiatives between public and private sectors, where the defense industry is an essential part of the national strategy of the United Arab Emirates. ---
