A delegation from the Ministry of Defense and the General Command of the Armed Forces, headed by Major General Pilot Mubarak Ali Al Niyadi, Head of the Executive Department for Policies and Cooperation at the Ministry of Defense, participated - in the presence of His Excellency Mansour Abdullah Khalfan Belhoul, the country's ambassador to the United Kingdom- in the 20th Defense and Security Equipment International 2019, which was held at the exhibition center in the British capital, London. UAE pavilion is an important platform for the national defense and security industries to showcase their latest defense and security products and independent systems that are characterized by quality, high efficiency and global competition.
Maj. Gen. Al Neyadi and the Emirati delegation toured the exhibition, which included the pavilions of several countries and the stands of regional and international defense companies specialized in the defense industries, where he was briefed on the latest production of British defense companies and international companies in terms of weapons, equipment, and defense and security capabilities. The visit included the pavilions of Australia, Japan, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Sweden and Canadian.
Al Neyadi highlighted the exhibition’s international importance and praised the participation of over 1,600 exhibitors and around 300 official delegations from 84 countries, as well as its level of organization.
In the Emirates Pavilion, His Excellency Mansour Abdullah Khalfan Belhoul, the country's ambassador to the United Kingdom was honored.
